about me

my name is avinash garimella and i’m a designer, artist, student, and self-proclaimed jack of all trades. i’m currently based in troy, ny, where i’m studying design, media & communication at rpi. my primary focus is on visual design and media.

though i have a background in many different mediums, my main strengths are in digital and hand-drawn typography, clothing & merchandise design, illustration, and video editing. i’m also experienced in poster design and web design, having worked with organisations both on and off campus to create webpages, promotional posters, and official merchandise.

outside of work, i like to keep myself busy. my days are spent in dance practice, directing my acapella group, playing the piano, listening to new music or just learning new skills for the fun of it. recently i’ve ventured into jewelry making and gouache painting.  i’m always looking to expand the list of things i can say i know how to do!
